Eye Camp : 12-November-2011
We have conducted Eye camp with the help of CSI Kalyani Multi specialty Hospital, Mylapore, Chennai-600 004, at our church campus where 150 patients were benefitted. 11 were referred to undergo eye surgery and they were taken to Kalyani Hospital by their van. 9 of them have undergone eye surgery and got discharged on 15th of November. 19 people were advised to wear spectacle for reading and 23 were asked to use spectacle for their sight problem. Opening prayer was conducted by Presbyter-in-charge Rev.N.Manova Santhosham at 10 am and the camp began. Church youth and few PC members along with the officers Mr. Selvin, Secretary and Mr. Immanuel Charles, Treasurer were able to spend the whole day to make the eye camp a successful one. Lunch was provided around 2 pm and we thanked the Director CSI Kalyani Hospital and the team.
